Born Ruffians zeigen das Video zu „I Fall In Love Every Night“ aus ihrem kommenden Album
Born Ruffians haben für Anfang April ihr neues Album „Juice“ angekündigt. Zur ersten Single „I Fall In Love Every Night“ haben die drei Kanadier bereits ein Video veröffentlicht.
Frontmann Luke Lalonde erzählt zum neuen Song folgendes: „When the darkness isn’t fully engrossing me, I feel very fortunate for the world we live in and the people I have in my life. It’s easy for me (and I think for a lot of people) to take things for granted. There’s a constant narrative I’ve noticed being pushed that the world is a big, mean, scary place. We’re constantly being drilled by bad news, perpetual fear. You can forget how beautiful the world is and you can forget to even notice the person right next to you… I’m feeling a renewed sense of love not only in my relationships but with the world in general. There is an overwhelming amount of love in the world, you just have to focus on it every once in a while.“
„Juice“ ist das sechste Album von Born Ruffians und das erste seit „Uncle, Duke And The Chief“ aus dem Jahr 2018. Das Album ist nach Angaben der Band eine Sammlung von „berührenden Songs, die über einen Zeitraum von drei Jahren geschrieben und ausgefeilt und zu einer zusammenhängenden, unerbittlichen und einzigartig angenehmen Erfahrung zusammengenäht“ wurden.
Im Mai wird das Trio das neue Album dann auch bei mehreren Konzerten in Deutschland vorstellen: Am 21. Mai im Kölner Burmann & Sohn, am 22. Mai in Darmstadt im 806qm, am 23. Mai im Molotow in Hamburg, am 24. Mai im Privatclub in Berlin, am 25. Mai im Ostpol in Dresden, am 27. Mai in der Milla in München und am 28. Mai in Stuttgart im Merlin.
