Saytr Play präsentieren ihre neue Single „Honest Man“
Mit ihrer neuen Single beweisen Saytr Play aus Manchester, dass sie derzeit zurecht als eine der heißesten neuen UK-Bands gehandelt werden. „Honest Man“ ist ein eingängiger und arenatauglicher Singalong-Rocker, der introspektiv und doch tanzbar ist. Er nickt dem Indie- und Garagenrock-Revival der 00er Jahre zu und klingt dennoch frisch und modern wie Sundara Karma oder Circa Waves.
Frontmann Fred Farrell erzählt über den Track folgendes: „Honest Man“ is a raucous heartfelt garage indie song that explores the idea of being happy in a bad relationship for the sake of easy love. It’s the idea of settling down out of fear of being alone. I’ve seen too many friends try to “make this work” on false promises and I too have lost years of my life on the wrong people before. This one is for us.“
