The Leisure Society: Neues Album „Alone Aboard The Ark“
Seit heute steht „Alone Aboard The Ark“, das neue Album von The Leisure Society, in den Läden. Aufgenommen wurde das Werk in den berühmten Konk-Studios von Kinks Sänger Ray Davies, mit Zugang zum dort vorhandenen Vintage-Studioequipment.
Es zeigt The Leisure Society mit ihrem bisher ausgereiftesten Album: „It’s the first album we’ve recorded that I can actually listen too and feel proud of; the other two I just pick apart and think, ‚I wish I’d done that differently,‘ or, ‚I wish that sounded better.‘ But this is the first one I can listen to just feel, hugely proud of“, so Sänger Nick Hemming. Unterstützung beim vorwiegend live eingespielten Album gab es zudem von Dave Williamson und Nick Etwell, den Blechbläsern von Mumford & Sons.
