Franz Ferdinand: Neues Album erscheint Ende August
Vier Jahre nach „Tonight: Franz Ferdinand“ melden sich Franz Ferdinand mit einem neuen Album zurück. „Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action“ soll am 23.08.2013 erscheinen, einen ersten kurzen Höreindruck gibt es in Form eines Teaservideos zum Titelsong.
Aufgenommen wurde das Album während des letzten Jahres in Kapranos Studio in Schottland, in McCarthys Sausage Studios in London, im Club Ralph und auf ein paar Reisen nach Stockholm und Oslo. Alex Kapranos, gefragt nach einem Kommentar zum Album, antwortet: „The Intellect vs. The Soul, played out by some dumb band…“
